BVM Sec 39 Chandigarh Road celebrated the incredible power of girls on National Girl Child Day.

To increase the awareness among people about all the inequalities faced by the girl child in the society BVM Sec-39 Chd Road observed the National Girl Child Day with great avidity. Students of I & II put forward their perspective virtually that the girls are the epitome of strength, love, sacrifice and courage through poster making and slogan writing. Students of classes *III to V recited poems to increase awareness about the necessity of the girl's right and providing her new opportunities in the Indian society. Students of VI to VIII performed role play to manifest that girls can too lead India on the path to social, economic and technological development. On this occasion, Principal, Upasna Modgil said that To save a girl is to save generations and a change in mind set is need of the hour; only then our girls will feel safe & empowered. Moreover, parents must empower girls through education & ensure that there is no gender discrimination.
